Monday Media Netherlands strengthens management with the appointment of Remco Lentjes as Managing Director and the promotion of Chantal Labree to Creative Director.
Amsterdam, September 25, 2025
Monday Media Netherlands is expanding its management team. As of October 1, Remco Lentjes will join as Managing Director. In addition, Chantal Labree has been promoted to Creative Director after a successful period as Head of Development.
With these appointments, Monday Media takes the next step in its continued growth and creative positioning within the Dutch market and beyond.
Remco Lentjes previously worked at Zodiak Nederland/Banijay, Endemol Shine Group, RTL and ITV Studios. At the latter, he was responsible for the development and international sales of a wide range of formats that extended well beyond the Dutch market. He is the original creator of the dating experiment Twin Love, which was launched globally by Amazon Prime Video. With his broad experience in creative execution, international acquisitions and distribution, and commercial strategy, Lentjes brings valuable expertise to the future direction of Monday Media.
In recent years, Chantal Labree has served as Head of Development, where she helped shape the creative vision of Monday. Under her leadership, the company developed titles such as No Going Back (SBS6), Million Dollar Desert (Net5) and 112 Newshunters (Powned/NPO Start). As Creative Director, she will take on a broader role in the strategic and creative development of new formats and international collaborations.
Lentjes: “Monday has quickly proven itself as a creatively reliable production house with a distinctive signature and culture that resonate with me. I look forward to working with the teams to develop and produce formats that make an impact locally but also have international potential.”
Labree: “I am incredibly proud of the titles we developed over the past year. That combination of substance, originality and tongue-in-cheek lightness is where our strength lies, and we are eager to build on that. At the same time, I want to focus on innovation in format and storytelling. In earlier projects I have worked extensively with new narrative forms – and that curiosity to explore what else is possible continues to drive me.”
Sander Emmering, CEO Monday Media Benelux: “With Remco we are bringing on board an experienced program maker and creative mind. His international background and commercial vision make him the right person to shape the further growth of our company. At the same time, Chantal has grown into the creative heart of Monday. Her promotion is a logical step and a confirmation of the path we are on. Together, Remco and Chantal form a powerful duo.”
